Hi everyone,
On behalf of the SEM Ecomusicology Special Interest Group, I want to thank those of you who were able to come to our business meeting in Atlanta on Thursday, October 24th! We have a number of important announcements for all members of the SIG.
Firstly, since we only received one nomination for incoming co-chair, I'm delighted to announce that Bailey Hilgren will be joining in leading the SIG as outgoing co-chair Carlos Cuestas steps down. Many, many thanks to Carlos for your leadership over the past two years!
Secondly, we would love for all current (and interested!) members of the Ecomusicology SIG to fill out this
Google Form so that we can learn more about who you are, what you do, and what you would like to see for the future of both our SIG as well as the broader future of ecomusicology.
Stay tuned for further updates and announcements, and let us know if you have any questions!
All the best,
Elizabeth
