SEM Call for Ecomusicology Panels

Hello all and happy new year!

The Ecomusicology SIG of the Society for Ethnomusicology is requesting proposals for sponsored panels for the upcoming SEM Meetings in Ottowa, Canada from October 19-22, 2023. The SIG can sponsor several panels for the upcoming meetings, and having your panel sponsored by a SIG increases its likelihood of acceptance. 

Have an idea for a panel, but need more people? The SIG can help with this too, and January is the time to begin these conversations. You can email calls for panel participation directly to this listserve, or you can send ideas for papers/panels to myself (k...@ou.edu) or co-chair Konstantine Vlasis  (kv...@nyu.edu) and we can try to connect you with other like-minded scholars in our community.

In order to be considered for SIG sponsorship, fully-formed panel proposals must be received by 2/6 and must conform to the format described on the conference call. Please submit these proposals to one of the co-chairs of the Ecomusicology SIG:
