Dear Ecomusicology List moderators, 

Aaron Allen suggested that I send along some information about my new book in the U. of Minnesota Press' Art After Nature series, Piano Decompositions, co-authored by Beate Schirrmacher: https://www.upress.umn.edu/9781517919375/piano-decompositions/.

This book traces art and music histories of burning, decaying, and drowning pianos (Fluxus and beyond), considers artworks like Annea Lockwood's Piano Transplants in ecological context, and performs media analysis of the 2021 Issue Project Room films of Lockwood's works.
