Dear all,

Pop music has been used worldwide to support environmentalism in a variety of contexts. But how can an essentially neoliberal cultural product achieve such goals? In this newly published case study, I examine, through an ecomusicological lens, the work of three Italian pop artists to understand when this music can effectively serve as a vector of change and when it amounts to mere greenwashing.
