What’s your favorite “green” way to get around? Join us at Bay to Brakes on Tuesday, April 19 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Paseo de San Carlos (in front of the Associated Students BBQ Pits and 4th Street Garage). Sponsored by the SJSU Environmental Resource Center and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Bay to Brakes promotes taking alternative transportation to campus. There will be vendors, games, prizes and free food and drinks! A relay race will take place at 11:30 a.m. Race a wheelbarrow, Big Wheels, Kangaroo Ball, roller skates, or a scooter for a prize of $100 CASH! Relay teams are forming now so hurry and sign your team up today.
Also, come celebrate Earth Day on Thursday, April 21. The party will start at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. along Paseo De San Carlos between 7th and 4th street. This great event will consist of more than 50 local and student organizations. There will also be live music and delicious food from a sustainable food vendor. Click here to find out more.
