Selain email ia
juga mengupload film pendek di  http://youtube/8AnfGtHdIlw

Saat ini saya dengan teman-teman Yayasan Sahabat Lingkungan Hidup (Eco
Learning Camp Foundation) bekerjasama dengan Universitas Katolik
Parahyangan sedang membantu Balai Pengelola Taman Hutan Raya Djuanda Dinas

Salam,

Demikian email dari Tomoko istri Makoto :

This is Tomoko.
I apologize that rate reply.
Thank you for your time on the other day.
My son enjoyed the time so much and every time he remembers that, he says
he wants to go back again.
The part that he enjoyed the most was the time we went to see the cows. It
was right after the weather stopped raining and many butterflies were
flying. As he found butterflies he got so excited and said "There are
butterflies! There are many!". He is usually does not like to get dirty or
touching insects by hands. Though he used be like that, he was
enthusiastic to go see the cows and he leads me to do so. It seems that he
was not afraid at all. He had a great time to watching cows so long time.
We were at huge field after spend some time to watching the cows. My son
ask me to go to the other part of the huge field, I told him to go alone
and come back after aim to the tree on the side. When I tell him to do
something by himself, he used to ask me to do that together again and
again. However, this time he said "yes." at once. I was so surprised at
his different attitude toward challenging without his mom and dad.
Through this forest tour, I felt the power of the activeness and curiosity
of my son. He express his own will to do something by himself, will to
lead the others, will to explore. I think those change of my son are
thanks to the environment of forest which make my son possible to express
his active identity.
I bet forest has power to heal. Through touching butterflies and animals,
running fields, send time in play park, drinking fresh milk, he has been
smiling whole time. To Touch cows or many butterflies is almost impossible
in the place we are living, it was for his first time to experience those.
He seemed that he enjoyed the time so much. He even started to cry before
he get on the car because he did not want to leave the forest.
Then you showed the forest near forest cafe, he kept saying "The sunlight
looks shining.Feels good and fun." He follow his dad and called him and
collecting leaves.
Especially, he enjoy walking in the darkness of cave of Japanese army. He
was proactive to lead me and mention the dangerous point. I was surprised
at his words because he could not care about the others in daily lives. He
was smiling and said "I will go faster and wait for you." when I told him
"thank you".
He kept enjoying that environment by walking on the tiles and collecting
leaves we went outside again.
Usually, he is not that active to talk much and lead the others but this
time he was so enthusiastic to do so.
We said we will be there again sometime, and went sleep at that night.
Thanks to you my son got great experiences. The forest make my sons mind
open. I really appreciate for this great opportunity. I will take him to
walk in forest more often.
I appreciate for you from bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.

regards,
Tomoko,

Email sebelumnya dari Makoto :
This is Makoto.
I would like to say Thanks a lot!   I'm very happy to see you.

I arrived to Bandung with my family at Jan 12-13.
Then I met with Ms,Shirley Megawati in Eco Learning Camp Foundation.
I upload a movie of that visit in  http://youtu.be/8AnfGtHdIlw

She is so clever and powerful woman.
She tell me that how they continue to support the kids of Bandung.
And his husband tell us many important things
which is related to the role of university.

My son "Hayao" fell very good emotion from the forest which was
organized by her.
It's a Just good effect of "Shinrinyoku".
And he live in Osaka which is big modern city in Japan.
So he has never saw many butterflies and cow.
It's amazing experience for him

I felt the atmosphere of social education(especially outdoor
education) in Japan from their activity.

After the war,Japan changed their mindset for not causing the war.
Then we settled the law of social education.
In that period(about 1950-1980) ,
we made many outdoor facilities in all over the Japan.
But the role of these education change with the times.
We gradually focus to the more pragmatic, convenience value.

The forest,Outdoor and social education is not suitable in that sense.
Their activity remind me of the past of Japanese social education.

So I start to change our value for
more sustainable Asia development and education
through exchange their knowledge and relationship.

(Makoto)

------------------------------------------------------

I introduce your activity to Japanese people more.

Warm regards,
Makoto (mats...@cobon.jp)
