Attention educators! Join us on Tuesday, February 24, at noon for a virtual brown bag lunch. Meet the author of an open-access teaching resource on creating community in the classroom!
Random Acts of Kindness was published in Lessons in Conservation Volume 14 as a perspective, but during this webinar, the author will go into more detail about how she runs this exercise and incorporates it into her classroom—and how you can, too! Random Acts of Kindness is intended to help college students process their complex feelings around topics such as climate change. Asking students to take small positive actions gives them agency to make a difference in the world around them, even when things feel hopeless.
