Please join the Inclusive Ecology for a Water Cooler Chat about demystifying and destigmatizing mental health disorders that can impact our colleagues and students. This session will focus on conditions such as bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, and schizophrenia, which are often not well understood by the general public, and which people living with these conditions may not feel comfortable disclosing. During the session we’ll learn about these conditions and how we can foster more inclusive, supportive environments.
This Chat is hosted by four members of the Inclusive Ecology Section who are passionate about destigmatizing mental health disorders and neurodiversity: Jennifer Hill (Arizona State University), Dr. Lis Regula (Otterbein University), Dr. Allyson Salisbury (Rutgers University), and Dr. Margaret Simon (University of Kansas).
