You are invited this Sunday, September 21st from 12-3 pm to SUN DAY, a national/global day of action in support of solar energy.
This free Albuquerque event will have fun activities for kids including solar cars, faceprinting, wind turbines, solar songs, solar cooking and the UNM Solar Splash boat team.
Lots of info for adults too on tax credits/rebates and other incentives for solar, EVs and energy efficiency upgrades before the Federal Tax Credits expire. People can talk to EV owners and PNM about charging and lower EV charging rates. Plus Community Solar, discounted electricity from local solar farms for renters, low-income households and businesses. How to stay safe in the heat. Lots of enlightening speakers, a march for solar and much more.
