Now Hiring! New MexiCorps Environmental Education Position
The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center is hiring a New MexiCorps Environmental Education Teacher to lead environmental education field programs at the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center, Los Padillas Wildlife Sanctuary
in the South Valley, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, and at various wild areas around New Mexico. The Environmental Education Teacher will also work to facilitate collaboration between the SMNHC, Los Padillas, and NMMNH&S to better serve
the youth of New Mexico.
The Environmental Education Teacher will work 3 days a week, one day with each location. Mondays will be spent at the SMNHC, Fridays will be at Los Padillas, and the third day will vary depending on the NMMNH&S needs. The schedule
may vary depending on the needs of the three locations. This position will require 675 total hours between mid October and mid July 2025.
