We invite you to join TOTAL NM for the next session in our Outdoor Classroom Framework Series focused on simple and practical ways educators can use schoolyards and outdoor spaces as learning environments.
Wednesday, March 11 | 4:30 PM (Virtual)
In this one-hour session we’ll explore how to:
• Align outdoor learning with what you already teach
• Use everyday outdoor materials (sticks, rocks, shadows, plants) as learning tools
• Connect culture and community to learning outdoors
• Encourage student leadership and voice in outdoor spaces
• Engage families and partners in schoolyard learning
Outdoor learning doesn’t require brand new lessons—it’s about bringing your existing teaching outside and letting students engage with the world around them.
