Join us on Sunday May 10th to learn about the medicinal properties of the plants growing in the Middle Rio Grande! This talk runs from 10am-11:15am inside the Education Building at the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park.
Come and learn about the healing power of reciprocal relations between people, plants and the land along with the cultural significance of herbs! Participants will also enjoy a blend of herbal tea made with seasonal plants grown in the area. *Spanish interpretation is available.
This program is free and is part of the annual Spring Garden Festival through Friends of the Rio Grande Nature Center. Parking inside the state park requires a $5 fee. The address to the park is 2901 Candelaria Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. No registration needed.
