Callout for submissions: Uneven Earth

Hi all, 

Hope everything is going well at the lab. I wanted to let you know about a website I'm starting up that I would love for any of you to submit something to! It's called Uneven Earth and it focuses on environmental issues from a political angle. Here's the callout, feel free to forward it along.

To whom it may concern, 

Uneven Earth, a new website focusing on environmental and social justice issues, is looking for submissions.

Our goal is to develop a conversation that is accessible, political, and not afraid to deal with complex issues. You can read our mission statement here.

We now want to extend a formal invitation to others—be they activists, researchers, students, or anyone with a story to tell—to submit their work to this new publication.

We’re looking for content in any of the following formats:

-Storytelling and narratives

-Interviews

-Reports from the field: stories about research told in an engaging and accessible way

-Book reviews

-Opinion pieces

-News

We are also interested in reposting content that may have otherwise remained ‘under the radar’, for example: blog pieces, local news, or manifestos. We want to publish your stories, insights, and reflections on life-changing experiences. If you would like to write something but don't know what, we can provide suggestions.

It would be great if you shared this call-out with your networks.
