Dear Delphine,

Thank you for the kind invitation. Unfortunately, this time I will not be down personally. However, our team of young and passionate representatives will be down.

May I extend this invitation to them to attend?

For your kind advise please.

Warm Regards,

Dear Wilson

How are you ?

We would like to invite you to the evening reception that the UIC is hosting on 11 May in New York City at the 19th session of the United Nations Commission for Sustainable Development (CSD-19) talks. One of the subjects under discussion at the CSD-19 is sustainable development in the transportation sector, and which provides a good opportunity for UIC to promote the rail sector.

UIC will have the honour to welcome high level speakers, including Mr. Sha Zukang, Under Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. László Borbély, Chairman of CSD 19 and Environment Minister Romania, Mr. Yakunin, RZD President and Mr. Takao Nishiyama, Head of New York Office, East-Japan Railways, on behalf of UIC Chairman, Mr Ishida. The reception, hosted by Jean-Pierre Loubinoux, UIC Director General, will give UIC the possibility to officially launch the UIC Declaration on Sustainable Development, which now has 43 signatures.

We would like to invite you to this reception. Please find more details in the invitation attached.

I hope you can make it.

Kind regards

Delphine
