Dear Valued Partner,

As many of you know, the NGO networking sessions were started in Aug 09 to create a platform for NGOs, student and youth groups to give feedback, as well as encourage partnership opportunities and share best practices with one another. The good feedback we received in 2010 indicated that many found these sessions useful, particularly in terms of meeting people from other sectors, e.g. government agencies or companies, which were either interested in starting or active in organising environmental activities.

Hence, the NGO networking sessions will be renamed “Partners Network” and expanded to include the public and private sectors as well, to further encourage and facilitate successful environmental partnerships amongst the 3P sectors. We would like to invite you to attend the first Partners Network on 8 Feb 11 (Tue), 5.30 pm at MEWR Hall (25th Storey, ENV Building).

In this first session of 2011, we will give a quick overview of MEWR family’s key events in 2011, as well as invite NGOs to highlight their key programmes for 2011. If there are major events your organisation is planning for 2011 and would like to use the occasion to interest other groups for potential collaboration, please feel free to inform Ms Isabel Ong at “isabe...@mewr.gov.sg”. We will include this in our presentation on the overview of events. The evening’s programme will conclude with a Lo-Hei dinner in conjunction with the Chinese New Year festivities and time for networking with one another as usual.

We look forward to meeting you again at the session and would appreciate it if you could indicate your attendance by clicking on the image appended below.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Melvin Koh

Ag. Director, 3P Network Division
