Special Volunteer Opportunity to Build a Hoop House

Hello Volunteers!
Sorry for the last minute email, but I wanted to let you know that the
Engaged Community Offshoots is building a hoop house this week from
start to finish, and its a great opportunity to learn how to build
these for yourself. The hoop house is being built at Second Genesis,
a non-profit that houses women with drug addiction issues, and they
will be using it both for food production for their cafeterias as well
as the horticultural therapy benefits. The site is 4620 Melwood Road,
Upper Marlboro, MD. We'll be there from Wednesday morning, and
hopefully finish it on Thursday, but may have to go into Friday to
finish it out. We'll be there from 8:30 to 4:30.
