No matter how rude you think the customer is, you must remember that the customer speaks for himself as an individual, not for all customers, you, on the other hand, speak for your business. What you say is perceived as you speaking on behalf of your business.

Hi Veena,
We have a small home bakery, my daughter is the cake artist and i deal with the customers. We recently had a Bride cake was a very simple 2 tier nautical cake with Gumpaste anchor and flowers. Our policy is 100.00 to book the spot and cake must be paid for in full 14 working days before the due date. The 100 was paid and i kept reminding the bride as time went by that the balance needed to be paid but to no avail. The afternoon before the wedding i called the bride to alert her that we had not received the payment in spite of weekly reminders and that we would have no choice other than to cancel. Upon hearing this she sent the money over in half hour. We delivered the cake the next day by lunch time, it looked lovely although we really had to rush and the Anchor needed more time to dry. The following week the bride left a totally nasty note on our FB page saying that we hounded her for the money and that because her cake was on a simply 2 tier cake and not a 5 tier cake we did not treat them as we would had it been big money. We deleted the comment and never replied, but i would like too so she understands that there is a lot of work that goes into making a wedding cake and in fact had she pulled that stunt on any other company they would have cancelled and left her high and dry. We did not do that. My daughter says to leave it alone as the bride is totally clueless and nothing i say will change her mind. What do you suggest?

The January Consumer Electronics Show or CES2006 in Las Vegas heralds the start of another high-end audio year. Andif you are like me an audiophile and a writer then this is the place to be. Atthe main venue the cavernous Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) you will findone hundred twenty thousand plus people pressed shoulder-to-shoulder making ithard to move and at times hard to breath. For the press who cover the show thisplace is aptly nicknamed The Zoo. So it is fortunate that high-end audiohas it's own separate space. If you travel about two miles farther east you willfind the Mecca for audiophiles at the Alexis Park Hotel. I always go there witha list of people and products I would like to see. First on my list are thethings I traveled here to do, second are the people and places I would like seeand last on my list is my need to satiate my boundless curiosity. It was myboundless curiosities that lead me to AP2601 the Divergent Technology room whereI happened upon the Reference 3A speakers. I hadn't heard a word about this lineof speakers for, well it's got to be at least fifteen years. Where have theybeen? They once were an important name in my audio past. I remember one verygood little 2-way speaker they made but that was some many years ago.

Resurrection
Only by serendipity did I find this place as I walked in I knew I was privyto something out of the ordinary. It was graced with music clean and openwithout artifact it had continuity and ease that my ears told me shouldn't becoming out of a box. As a matter of fact it reminded me of my Quad ESL 63electrostatic speakers. I guess I must have developed a pretty thick skin overthe years because this near instant affinity thing hardly ever happens to me anymore and so it was totally unexpected. This happenstance hearing only heightenedmy already over active curiosity for all things audio. And so I sat and listenedto the Veena (This name is an Indian term for instruments that aresimilar to the Sitar) a small slim tower doing something seamlessly I don'tremember what the music was, but I knew I wanted them. The presiding principlein attendance was a man named Tash Goka he is the distributor of the speaker andhe proved to be a font of knowledge. He explained that the speaker of old Iremembered was the MM (Midi Master) from 3A.

Childbirth is a significant event in the lives of women and their families. It is a critical time in the human development that transforms women into mothers. Women remember their childbirth for the rest of their lives. Thus, the quality of support that women receive during labour and delivery is important and nurses need to be concerned. Previously, women were delivered at homes; they received emotional support from female relatives. Now women give birth in hospitals; they are separated from their families. Although nurses are adept at providing physical and emotional support, they may have to care for several other women. Nurses sometimes may give support to an individual woman a low priority because they have various clinical responsibilities and paper work. It may create womens' experience emotional loneliness and deal with labour pain and in unfamiliar environment alone. These situations can contribute negative effects on childbirth outcomes. Having a close female relative to support a woman in labour can reduce maternal stress and anxiety and improve childbirth outcomes. The present article provides guidelines for including a close female relative on the labour unit to support a woman during labour and delivery.

I'm trying to play the acoustic guitar in the classical Indian style which involves a lot of string bending to go up 1-4 semitones. My question is whether there's a difference in string tension that makes it easier to do on sitar/veena so that I don't injure my left hand mimicking that on the guitar. I've never played those instruments but they have more depressed frets and seem to be more easy to pull the string on.

Later, on my way home, I remembered her CD of Rama bhajans that I had at home. For many months afterwards, I continued to listen to those songs, rendered in her haunting, sinewy voice, first thing after waking up each morning.

When looking at the associated brain activity, the researchers noted that whenever participants successfully remembered emotional words, high-frequency neural activity (30-128 Hz) would become more prevalent in the amygdala-hippocampal circuit.

First, 148 participants undergoing intracranial electroencephalographic (iEEG) recording performed an episodic memory task. Participants were most successful at remembering emotionally arousing stimuli.

Interesting. I am wondering whether hard problem of conscious experience is simply the first flush of unique emotional experience that forms new memory? I can think of some indirect evidence. If today I have excellent dinner and have a unique experience, tomorrow if I am asked to remember I will easily recollect the pleasant subjective experience. The intensity will slightly reduce. Thus I am only proposing the possibility that subjective consciousness may be related to memory circuits. The initial formation is unique but then it is but a memory.

Negative memories or events stay in the sub conscious level longer than pleasant incidents. At the age of 82 ,born in Northern India & moving to United State was very much traumatic & dealing with lot of cultural shocks. Moving from Buffalo Ny to Orange County california was another traumatic experience. All these episodes created big whole in my belly & many times had difficulty to focus on professional & family life. After the age of 45, had free time from responsibilites, got engaged with taekwondo, cardio kick, spinning &eventually Ananda yoga to have peace.
Certain incidents left negative impact on my heart & resolved with activities, they resolved but never completely disappeared.Trigger at times but I focus on thai massage & yoga moves, they disappear.Anger & hostility is not there but memory of the incident [family drama] is still scary. Teaching yoga & taekwondo with philosophy of inner healing is my passion.Yoga heals inner gut & channels.Mental health awareness to people is important.Having medication is not an answer even counseling is not the answer, self awareness to search inside & practice strong yoga positions, swaetnig release tension & calmness helps to relax .Peace for oneself & family is important to enjoy life.I am blessed to guide my students, resilient yoga means clean inner channels with deep nose breathing & create space to have relaxation.

As I continued playing, I developed a passion for music. I later picked up a South Indian classical instrument called the veena, after which my love for music grew. I have since continued my studies with both flute and veena, participating in performances and competitions.

As I filled my lungs with air to blow a beautiful melody from my flute, and as my fingers traveled across the fretboard of my veena, I was proud to be using my passion for music to support my goal towards enlightening others on the topic of allergies and asthma.

In order to address the issues which concern us here we will have to go into some of the technicalities of the music and introduce some unfamiliar terminology. You will not need to remember all the details.
