More Productive Course Downloads
Until now, when downloading new or updated courses, training facilitators had to wait until all courses finished downloading before they could continue preparing for their group training. With Player 8.02, you can save time with the ability to kick off a download and move on to other work while the courses download in the background.
New Search & Filtering for Course Downloads
Instead of scrolling through a long list of available courses, you can find the content you need more quickly with the new search and filter functionalities. To help you shorten the time to prep for a specific training class, you now have these options:
Courses can be downloaded in an offline, view-only mode. With this download, you cannot interact with the course content, such as completing assignments or viewing submissions. The course content is downloaded as a zip file, which includes the HTML version of the course. Downloading the course content is only accessible if modules were used.
By default in all courses, the "Offline Course" option is enabled. In order to disable this feature, follow the steps below to uncheck the "Offline Course" option.
In order to download the offline view of the course, the option must be enabled. If you are unable to download the offline view, the option may be disabled. Follow the directions below to ensure that it is turned on.
Depending on the size of the course, this may take a few minutes. If you remain in the page until the download is complete, the file will download directly to your computer. If you leave the page, you'll receive an email notification when the course download is complete. You can use the link in the email to download the file.
From the "index.html" file, you can view the offline version of the course. This will only include content that was available at the time of download. In order to see the newest content in offline mode, you will need to do another export.
Hello all, I am looking for a complete Moodle course I can download and demo. Something that well demonstrates all the features and activity types, including H5P interactivity if possible. I appreciate the help! Thanks!
Start by looking through some of the courses on the School demo site Mount Orange (it says School but some courses are suitable for adults) They don't have H5P as that is not a standard Moodle feature. Look at the courses just after the hour (because people can play with the site so the courses might have been edited - the site is reset back to the original every hour on the hour) and then as manager, back up the course you want. Back it up with user data and then when you restore it you can have user data to show like forum posts and assignment submissions. Here are a few examples, but there are others:
Hi Kevin, This may be a little late, but over time I'll be constructing Moodle Course templates (and suitable resource courses for demo purposes). These templates can be downloaded by anyone. I've made a few so far, they may be of use Also I've made a quick HVP demo course using some of the available examples from HVP.
To run The Bible Course you will need to purchase one set of the videos for your group (available as a DVD, digital download or via our new streaming platform) and a manual for each person attending the course.
As a student, you can download all your assignment submissions in Canvas. Submissions are for both current and concluded courses and only includes any files that were submitted to fulfill an assignment; they do not include any submissions modified by instructors, such as annotated submissions.
Access to topic-based or project-based tutorials, online self-paced courses and interactive learning resources. Training materials can be used to learn Solid Edge on your own, or to supplement classroom learning. Students can also achieve Solid Edge Certification, a competitive edge when applying to jobs.
