I think illegal immigrants do need to be deported because they're stealing jobs, healthcare, education, and other government services from U.S. citizens.

ok i think they do fort all the same reasons as you Karima but i also think they need to have a chance to be legalized. like they went around the entire U.S getting every illegal immigrant by force there would be a lot of people fighting back and stuff. even if there was three warnings before they did that then people would still want  to fight back. But if they had a chance to legalized while there over here then some people would be ok with it if they can or cant...but in the end people would still fight to stay...but hey that's only my opinion...

Well its hard to say because some illegal immigrants are just trying to find better way of living often because of economy issues. On the other hand though they are illegal immigrants that come over and cause problems examples would be 9-11-01. So its a stand still because I believe people shouldn't be restricted to make something better of themselves, but referring back they are some people that just like to cause trouble.

LET THEM STAY! but tax the mess out of them because you can't just come to the land of the free and expect to get in for free ..

At least this way the taxes will be used to help pay for their healthcare education as well as the foreigners tax and taxes taken from their now legal jobs. I think the more we try to push them away the more resources we are actually having to use to keep them out and the more under the table and non taxed money will be evading our economy.

As far as being deported for crimes, I still believe that ALL and I repeat ALL people regardless of race be sentenced to the service and maintenance of all public goods for free to repay us for all the tax money we use to keep them locked up. If they have to be a burden to both society and my wallet then the people should get some sort of benefit out of their stay. This is not taking away their freedom, but this is helping both society and the criminal see what it's like to do good and see others like themselves helping out, kinda like a re-entry to society program

I am uncertain where I stand on this topic.  I thought the presentation was so informative, and really showed a side of immigration i've never discussed before. However I truly do not know the necessary facts to make a formative decision.  I do think immigration can be a great thing, and I understand many of the people in my life and even myself would not be here if a loved one had not immigrated to this country.

I do believe immigrants should be given a chance to be legalized.  However after a reasonable time (although I'm unsure how long since I don't know how long it takes to become legalized) the deportation process should be started.  I believe immigrants are taking jobs from Americans because they will work for much lower costs.  I also believe an illegal immigrant who commit crimes in America should be punished as an american would.  In high school my friend was killed by a drunk driver who happened to be an illegal immigrant.
