Executive committee 2016 - 2017

We again ask sir to all members of executive committee that what is the status of those doctors who attended the first ever meeting of Ecmo society in 2011 and were told that they are founder members as that was the time first time the society came into picture.

This is first time we are hearing about an executive committee and that too after repeated asking...

Please solve this issues as it creates questions on other doctors existence as Ecmo users or promoters after this ...

The question has been raised in past as well...

Please answer it.

Dear Dr Bhagyesh,

It was in 2010 Nov when the first ecmo society meeting was conducted. During that time Dr Goyal has extended complementary associate membership for one year to all those who has attended the conference. 

ECMO society of India is regularly conducts training course in June every year & annual conference every year in octomber / november. Every year the society selects executive committee for the period of 1 year. ‎We have our regular what's up group & had Google group also since 2011. Unfortunately Google group was not active after 2013/14 as what's up group became active. This group was reactivated on the request of few life members.

This is the first time that I got a message from you after reactivating Google group. I hope you must be receiving our all mail regarding training‎ program & annual conference.

I have attended that Nov 2010 meeting only.attaching the proof.this time only this month I started getting msg..So I asked...Please update me regarding future course of action required from my side.i never saw any update or invitation for committee selection or election as well.society should be transparent...

As per your mail in March, the last date for life membership was 30 the March. You have mentioned that charges will be increased from July. As I was traveling abroad for international conference, I could not keep the tab on few mails and missed the last date. What is provision for the period between 1 st April to 30 the June? ‎I have seen the attachment & I very well know, you have attended the 2010 conference. That time dr goyal has suggested a complimentary 1 year associate membership for all those who attended conference. 

About the executive committee, it has been always selected from the members who were present during the general body meeting held at the time of conference.

As regarding Transparency, our society is too a small society to raise the issue about the transparency. ‎We have still less than 70 members in society & that to majority of them joined in last 2 years. We are not a rich society like other society, every year when we conduct training course & conference we spend money from our own pocket. All the members who has attended the training course & conference will agree that  we always keep nominal fees without compromising in quality (in terms of study material, content, venue, food, etc). All members knows that there are no sponsors also during our training course. As neither ecmo manufacturing company nor pharmaceuticals are interested in sponsoring for ecmo. We are continuing the society activity at our personal level, using our office staff & our resources. This we are doing as we have passion for ecmo & we want to uplift ecmo in Indian scenario. This is the usual story of all the new societies & newer therapy. We expect it to go up further in near future. I need not have to tell all this, but I have been forced to say as the question was raised on the transparency of society. These kind of question carries wrong message & that might refrain people to join society. 

As regarding your future course of action, you are all welcomed to join us as a life member & contribute for the upliftment of society.

 Are you from Ahmedabad? If I am not mistaken, we did meet 2 - 3 times & have telephonic conversation on few occasion. We have always extended the support to you & all the beginners in our capacity.

‎Hope to meet you in upcoming training course (1 to 4 June 2017)  or during annual conference ( 28 to 30 octomber 2017)

I have messaged u and dr.goyal on email and phone in past I am frm Cims Ahmedabad only.and all I want is this society should grow as whatever I said reflects perception of many of our INTENSIVIST community who uses Ecmo more now.there is no problem in committee and selection from my side as I am represented by my own hospital colleague doctor.
