àPosition Description:



Senior Developer in Remedy Platform Development Clients Team



Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to



• As part of the development organization, the candidate
will have an opportunity to design and implement the Eclipse Plugin
IDE for Remedy

• Will participate in the entire life-cycle of the product.

• Write functional and design specification documents

• Perform code and design reviews

. Must be able to perform and interact creatively in a dynamic
and fast-paced environment and ready to fully participate

within a high commitment, lean, aggressive team

• Investigate and stay up-to-date with Eclipse foundation
activities and other RCP technologies



àPosition Requirements:



7 - 10 + years of product engineering experience with a proven track
record of delivering high quality commercial enterprise products.
- Experience in architecting complex framework and platform solutions
using web technologies
.- Experience in application development platform for building
enterprise application and business critical business processes that
involves workflow automation and process orchestration.
- Excellent ability to architect, design and develop Object Oriented
and Service Oriented software with practical use of design patterns.
- Experience in Eclipse Plugin Development is a must.

- Experience with distributed systems or a large enterprise background is a must

- Experience with Servlets, JSP, DHTML, CSS, AJAX and J2EE is a big plus.
- Experience with open source participation and apache projects is a big plus.

– ability to drive a plan to completion combined with good written and
oral communication.
- Good understanding of high-availability and scalable platform architecture.

7-10 years experience in Software Engineering with focus on developing
enterprise-class, products and web applications. Hands-on experience
with programming languages Java/J2EE, and overall thorough
understanding of object-development methodologies.

3+years of professional experience in developing plug-ins for Eclipse.

* Experience in development using Graphical Editor Framework (GEF),
SWT, JFace and Swing.

* Advanced technical knowledge in software development methodologies,
design and implementation.

* In-depth understanding of the entire development process, including
specification,documentation, and quality assurance.

* Excellent written and oral communications skills

* Bachelor's degree in Computer science/MCA required
.- Assertive individual who knows how to help drive software
development process maturity and is able to clearly communicate goals,
decisions and recommendations to appropriate parties.
Excellent team building skills, including cross-functional team building. –
-Ability to work flexible hours and stay up-to-date with competing
technologies and passionate about adapting technology to provide
business-benefiting solutions.





àPosition Attributes:



- Strong experience in Core java
- Experience in Eclipse Plugin Development / SWT, JFace
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM and iterative development methodologies is a must
- Experience handling complex problems/projects through creative and
innovative thinking is required
- Should keep abreast of technology and industry trends
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
