Hi everyone, and thanks to the guys at Phonegap for some excellent tutorials. I have managed to get as far as running the TMT0 demo on the Android simulator on my desktop. I struck out on trying to get it to work on my phone, which is a MTK6575 running Android 4.0. I can't seem to get the Desktop Ubuntu 13.04 to recognise the Android device.

I installed and run the ADB and it cant find my device. I must have messed up somewhere along the setup. How do I check, without reinstalling from scratch?

Thanks in advance!
Graeme

Did you modify your /etc/udev/rules.d/ files, as described here:

http://developer.android.com/tools/device.html

You'll need to find the specific vendor id for that device.

Hi Libby and thanks for your email.

I have just today managed to get the phoen recognised. I had to use the Vendor Id for HTC, altho this is an MTK. It now works!

A bit weird but thats programming I guess.
