how can I run my project using eclim?

Hello.

I use eclim 2.2.1 with Eclipse 4.2.1, I open Eclipse and open Eclim view in it, all works fine, thanks.

But I can't find the way to Run my project, so every time I want to run project I have to switch to the Eclipse, take mouse and press button "Run". It would be pretty nice if I can type in Vim something like :ProjectRun, and that's it.

I'm working on Android project right now, but I think this command might be a common one.

Is there a way to execute my Android project from Vim?
If yes, then please tell me how can I do it.
If no, then will it be implemented in the future?

Currently eclim only provides a :Java command to run a regular java
project. I added a note to my todo list to look into replacing that
with a :ProjectRun command which would use eclipse's run
configurations, but I'm not sure how tightly coupled to the UI that
part of eclipse is, so I'm unsure of its feasibility at the moment.

Hi Eric,

Have you had a chance to give any more thought to this feature?  Being able to run my Eclipse project from Vim would be incredibly useful.

Alternatively, is there another way to run a project on Eclipse from outside of Eclipse, either from a CLI or some API?

There is a pull request[1] which started to implement this, but it
wasn't finished enough to be merged and may have been abandoned by the
author. I was planning on taking it over at some point if no one else
does, but it's very low on my list. If you'd like to take a crack at
flushing it out more that'd be great. Or possibly what is there is
good enough for your usage, then you can just merge it in locally
until it's officially added to eclim.
