i only want you to know that "python" you use in several passage of
your installation is not the default python(3) but it is the old
python2.
to install your software i'd to change manually python-->python2 in
every makefile and in setup.py; not an important problem, but, you
know, maybe it can be usefull that you know.
i'm using Arch Linux but I think it would not to be a problem only for
our community.

Hi Ahel

I recently read about Arch Linux being a bit special about the Python2 to 3
transition. Fact is that the Python community slowly wants to transition to
Python3, but not all have gone that far already. Python2 is still the major
version out there if you believe the blogs. Actually Debian, Ubuntu and others
will make /usr/bin/python3 the new interpreter path AFAIK.

Eclectus will surely move to Python3 in the future, however currently for me
there are more pressing things to be done. If you can still use Eclectus under
Python2 then let's keep it that way for the near future at least.

Thanks for the feedback!
-Christoph
