Beta Testing 1.0 Release.

Hello all,

We have released a beta of EckoIt version 1.0. We are asking all to download it and test installing it. Then please provide feedback.

Step 1. Prerequisites

1. You must install it on a windows machine. XP, vista, or Win 7.

2. Please have Google Chrome installed. We have not tested on IE or Firefox. Google Chrome is free and is a solid browser.

Step 2. Install EckoIt

Please download the release here:

EckoIt 1.0 Windows Release.

Install it as you would any other. We are being as non helpful here so you can tell us how it went.

Step 3. Provide feedback

Please reply to this topic with the following:

1. Operating System

2. Was Installation Successful

3. General Feedback

Feedback
1. Windows 7 64bit
2. Went through all the steps with no errors. Microsoft Security
Essentials asked about a file's risk factor but didn't stop the
installation. Installation took about 3-5 min.
3. Used you new link (http://eckoit.googlecode.com/files/eckoit-1.0-
windows-installer.exe ). It took 1 minute and 43 seconds to download
at an average rate of 734.1 kb/s for the 73.64mb file. The download
had the eckoit image in the download bar.

I haven't had time to try it but that is my feedback on the
installation.
