There is a checkbox option for diarization when recording a meeting
using the localhost CouchDB hosted app.

Is there any way to initiate the diarization processing of an audio
recording of a meeting that has been uploaded using the localhost
CouchDB hosted app?

A most interesting open source project indeed!

Hey Graham,

I am glad to hear your enthusiasm. The version of Eckoit you have
downloaded probably has the meeting component disabled. You can try it
from an earlier version of Eckoit from here:

http://code.google.com/p/eckoit/downloads/list

This is the old installer, but it will have diarization available so
you can see how it was working. I am in the process of revamping the
meeting audio recording.

Ryan,

Thanks for the quick response.

I already have a localhost installed CouchDB for my other projects, so will have to look carefully whether there will be any impact on my other databases running there.

A couple of other questions for you -

Is this forum the place to report bugs? Or the google code site?

Is there a specific place that I can go to determine WHICH version of the software I am running? (So as to better report bugs)

Is there a way that I can create a file with the event time marks and drop it with the audio recording into the watched folder (of an inserted USB drive) to simulate a Sansa Clip connection?

Is there a place where I can limit the logging as my log file just keeps on growing with each poll of all the drives on the PC?

This looks very promising indeed.

Best regards
