Emerald City Improv will have more events soon, but in the meantime a
couple of other groups are organizing some events this weekend that
you might be interested in.
This is Seattle, a group which "showcases Seattle's artistic talent,"
is organizing an MP3 Experiment for this Saturday the 24th. We've had
a chance to listen to the audio for it, and it sounds like it's going
to be a blast. The facebook event page is here:
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=211338068926664 or you can get
details here: http://kcsarts.com/thisisseattle/mp3experiment/
There's also another Ferry Carnival going on this Friday the 23rd.
It's organized by a group that exclusively does Ferry Carnivals, and
who helped us out with some planning for our very own Ferry Carnival
earlier this summer. This is their 5th one, and it looks like it's
going to be pretty great. Also, if you missed our carnival this
summer, you now have another chance! Their blurb is below:
The fall equinox and the age of darkness will soon be upon us.
Celebrate the summer, the Sound, and the spirit of festivities on the
brave boat Wenatchee. The fifth Ferry Carnival will be an epic sail
with entertainment and activities for all ages. Music, games, crafts,
dancing, puppets, costumes, and more. Bring something to do, or
yourself to do something. WHEN: Friday, September 23rd from 6 to
8:30pm (boat departs Seattle at 6:20 and Bainbridge at 7:10) WHERE:
Meet at 6 in the walk on loading area of the Seattle Ferry Terminal
(Marion and Alaskan Way) to board a 6:20 ferry to Bainbridge. COST:
The ferry will cost $7.10 for the trip to Bainbridge Island and back.
Entertainment the whole way. Stay up to date on this and future Ferry
Carnivals by joining the Ferry Carnival Facebook Group:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/61476241465/ The small print: All
passengers must disembark the vessel. No alcohol or open flames
allowed on the vessel. All participants are responsible for their own
action.
Have a great week everybody!
