Residential School Apology

Yesterday the government of Canada honoured Inuit, Métis and First
Nations people who attended residential schools and their descendents
with an apology and an opportunity for leaders to speak in the House
of Commons. I share the many expressions of hope that this is an
important step in developing a shared understanding of our history and
shaping our future together with respect and dignity.
