Just wondering if anyone has had issues with Jing and viruses erupting
on their computers lately? I have had two viruses that were
associated with Jing in the last few days when my computer did its
virus scans, so I have sadly deleted it from my computer. I can't
risk a virus, but really liked using Jing :(

That's really odd, have never heard of anything like that. Are you
sure it is from Jing? How can you tell?

Jing will periodically check for updates, which I suppose could be misinterpreted by a poorly designed virus checker.  Other than that, I can't think of how Jing could conceivably cause a problem.

I am using AVG virus checker and twice there have been "threats" found
with Jing files it has said. I thought it was probably best to remove
Jing for now and see what happens. I thought it was weird too.

I do not think I have a virus, but I know Jing sure slows my computer
down, especially initial startup Not sure why though.

Dave I had the same problem so I took it off my computer. It seems to
be back to normal so I'm wondering if there was a conflict with
another program on my laptop. It doesn't sound like too many others
are having problems.

I run it on my Mac and no troubles. Dave it will use up more computer resources while running. Do you have it start automatically during the computer startup? Does it cause problems even if you quit it?

I just started using Jing and it's not causing any problems on my
computer. Kyle, how do I get my little presentation to upload to
Screencast? I can seem to figure that out. Can you help? Thanks

Rosanne, Go to the Jing History (second tab on the sun).  From there click the 3 arrows to 'share' the file. You might need to update the program if this isn't working for you.

Thanks! I was able to link it to my blog. Greatly appreciated!

It starts automatically but does not seem to cause problems on
shutdown, etc.
