Hi everyone,
Well, the end is near. Here are the details for the rest of the
course.

1) As mentioned a couple of times previously, I would like to have a
discussion about your major project. For this, I would like to take
about 5-10 minutes summarizing a) what you did, b) what you learned,
c) barriers, and/or anything else related you'd like to discuss. It
will be best that you have working audio and/or webcam. No PowerPoints
are necessary, but try to be as clear as possible. Also, you are
welcome to submit something prerecorded if you cannot make either
date, or would prefer this option.

2) I know that everyone cannot make it both days, but please try your
best. Let us know what day you'd prefer to present by adding your name
to the wiki here.http://eci831.wikispaces.com/WrapupWinter2008 ...
remember that you need to be a space member (most of you are) and need
to be logged in to edit.

3) If you haven't already, please add any relevant project links to
your space in the course directory page. http://eci831.wikispaces.com/Directory

4) As for final grades, you will need to have all of your work done by
April 16/08. I will email you if I am missing anything. You may want
to review the course assessments to make sure you have done everything
OK. http://eci831.wikispaces.com/Assessments ... and you may want to
end the formal part of this course with a personal, summative blog
post of some sort. I will work hard to get your grades posted so that
they will be available by Monday April 21, or sooner. You will receive
an assessment summary for me with comments and a grading assessment.

5) At some point, I will ask you to give some feedback on the course
via a web survey. Details to follow, but your feedback will not be
available to me until after your grades are posted.

More information

Any other questions? Let me know.

Alec,

I ran into all kinds of problems with Ustream and Skype last session.
Skype kept kicking me out and my computer would freeze. I spent most
of the session restarting my computer and logging in. I was wondering
if I could put together a Voicethread as a back up. I don't know how
it would be shared but I'm sure you could point me in the right
direction. I will be ready to speak but if Skype keeps kicking me out
I don't want to stuck without a back up. Let me know if that works
for you. I've updated Skype so hopefully that will take care of any
problems I had last week. We shall see.

Also, I've noticed that when I've gone into the collaborative wiki
there are sometimes bubbles that indicate that someone has altered the
content. This doesn't appear on all pages. I have contributed
several times and I am just wondering if that appears somewhere. I
don't see it but I'm hoping that you do. Please respond. Thanks.
