Hello,

I'm the Theater Teacher at El Cerrito High School, and I'd like to request an etree announcement about our spring Thespian Society show! Let me know if there are any questions. I have a draft announcement below, feel free to edit it to fit your format:

"On behalf of the ECHS Thespian Society, we'd like to formally invite you all to our Spring Production of Edgar Wallace's Sensational Thriller, The Green Archer!

Set in the foreboding Garre Castle in 1923, this two-act roller coaster has a bit of everything from the genre--secrets, dramatic revelations, faked deaths, and of course, a mysterious spirit lingering over it all.

From the synopsis:
Villainous Chicago tycoon, Abel Bellamy, purchases England's Garre Castle, a forbidding fortress haunted by the ghost of the Green Archer, who was hanged from a castle beam in the Fifteenth Century. To carry out a vengeful plot, Bellamy has imprisoned the mysterious Elaine Held beneath the walls and surrounded himself with a treacherous retinue of criminal types and unsuspecting guests--some marked for death!

The Thespian society is a dedicated group of students that meet voluntarily at lunch and after school to choose, organize, cast, rehearse, and produce their plays. They're an impressive group of collaborative performers, and it's my honor to facilitate their creativity. Meanwhile, they're being supported by the students of Theater Tech, a course we're excited to be offering for the second time this semester. As I write this, the set is being constructed--Garre Castle, complete with its medieval masonry, secret passages, and Bellamy's sinister headquarters. It's shaping up to be a fantastic show!

Three shows only! On Thursday, February 12th, we'll open at the conclusion of Back to School Night--estimated to be about 7:30pm. On Friday, February 13th, we've got a show at 7:00pm. On Saturday, February 14th, we're doing a 2:00pm Matinee.

Tickets are ten dollars at the door, but it's more important to us that we have a full house and share our art with the community than it is for this show to turn a profit. Times are tough--if folks don't have ten dollars for this, we'll still let 'em in. Every dollar we do collect, however, pays for this show's expenses, and hopefully funds the next one, too.

We hope to see you there! Take care!"

I've also attached the posters for the show, feel free to use them in any announcements.

Let me know if there are any questions. Take care!
