ECHS SPEECH & DEBATE TEAM NEWS:

 

Over the President's Weekend (February 18-20), nine students participated in the highly competitive Cal Invitational Speech & Debate Tournament at the U.C. Berkeley campus.  This tournament brought students from around the nation. Special congratulations go out to:

 

Sophomore Dori Goldberg who reached the quarterfinal round in Varsity Humorous Interpretation!  

Freshmen Chris MacMaster and Chris Mills who reached the double-ocotofinals in Junior Varisty Policy Debate!

Freshman Will Bell and Phineas Crisp who came away with a 5-3 winning record in Open Public Forum Debate!

 

Congratulations also go out to: Cristy Resendiz, Rebecca Dao, Gordon Hung and Margaret Spencer for their great efforts and participation.

 

The team's next tournament is the Windsor Parli Tournament on February 25.
