Fwd: Support teachers by helping fund IAE Mini-Grants

Gaucho friends and families - 

While we support our teachers, and hope the strike comes to a swift conclusion, Investing in Academic Excellence (IAE) continues to support students and staff at ECHS to achieve excellence in teaching and learning. 

This year we will give out $6000.00 in our ECHS Mini-Grant program. Mini-grants awarded in Fall 2025 allowed teachers to purchase hands-on science materials, class sets of literature, and BART tickets for a field trip. Please consider a gift to support this program today!

ECHS Mini-Grants make up roughly one-third of our total budget for this year. Use this link to learn more about our current and planned activities for the year; see our official solicitation letter in the attached pdf.  

Donations can be made by PayPal or check (details below). All gifts to IAE run through the ECHS Student Activities Fund (SAF), which is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and, therefore, gifts may be tax deductible.

Investing in Academic Excellence (IAE) is a parent and community group created in 2010 to advance academic excellence at ECHS. This committee meets roughly once/month on Zoom and all members of the ECHS community are invited to participate in our planning meeting and activities. Use this link to let us know how you would like to help.
