ECHS Swim Team news

A huge congratulations to the ECHS Swim Team for a great season! They competed on Thursday at the TCAL Championship meet, where the Girls Varsity team earned 2nd place in the league, being narrowly edged out by Albany HS by only 20 points (418 vs 398). The Varsity Boys team finished in 4th place overall in the league.

Congratulations to all the ECHS Swimmers for showing great sportsmanship 🤝 and fantastic swims 👏  at the 2026 TCAL Championship!  

Many thanks 🙏 to Coach Kellen for his guidance, support, and tremendous dedication throughout the season. It was a challenging season due to our local EC pool being closed for replastering!  Thank you also to all the parents who volunteered throughout the season!

Special shout out to our swimmers who achieved NCS qualifying times!  Junior Ellie de Hart and Freshman Stella Ritter each qualified for NCS in both of their individual events. 👏 Go Gauchos!

Congratulations also to the Gauchos whose relay teams made the NCS consideration times: 

200 Medley Relay - Ellie de Hart, Senior Miki Berliner, Stella Ritter, and Freshman Maya Bluitt 

200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relays - Stella Ritter, Senior Hollyce Bauer, Ellie de Hart, and Maya Bluitt

These Gauchos will be competing at NCS Swimming Championship this Friday in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay!  🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
