This session was inspired by my former experience as a college counselor - parents, guardians, and mentors always found this particular program helpful as they navigated the process, emotions, and ultimately their relationship with their student. While this program will feature panelists from Wesleyan University, the focus will be on providing general guidance through the admission process as professionals, and as parents. Join us for an opportunity to hear from our VP of Admission and Dean of Financial Aid, Amin Gonzalez '96 and Associate Director of Financial Aid, Claudia Morrow as they share experiences as parents ushering their own through the college search, application, and selection process. Collectively they will demystify admission/financial aid terminology, identify the different roles in the process, emphasize the importance of communication, and provide sage words of wisdom so that you can maintain a strong relationship with your student before they leave the nest! Time will be set aside at the end for Q&A.
