Kids Summer Tennis Camps -- Winslow Tennis Academy

At the Winslow Tennis Academy we are fired up for Summer and our Kids Age Group Camps and High Performance Camps.  We are conveniently located in El Cerrito.  We keep kids moving, developing and having fun. 

 

AGE GROUP CAMPS: 

Each week is devoted to a particular age group so that kids are in camp with their peers. Our camps are smaller in scale to maintain an outstanding teacher-student ratio and have double the development experience and fun.  Our coaches are experienced as instructors, have extensive training, love tennis, and are great with kids. 

 

• Focused instruction on mechanics, technique, footwork and shot-making;
• Lively games, drills, and individual and team contests;
• Singles and Doubles point play; develop Tennis IQ.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Half Day.  Each camp is 9am-12:30pm or 1-4:30pm.  Cost: $380. $76/day for 5 days.  (4-day camp June 29-July 2 costs $304.)  Discounts: $100  discount for signing up for two camps. $75 sibling discount.  $25 discount if a friend also signs up for camp.

This spring we also have:  our weekday classes at Harding Park and our Saturday afternoon age group drop-in classes at Tassajara Park for newer and beginner players. This Summer we will continue our Saturday afternoon drop-in classes at Tassajara Park.

Berkeley- and El-Cerrito-based Winslow Tennis Academy is for players of all ages and skill levels. We develop young kids, older kids, beginners, high school varsity and tournament players, and have an active junior development program and junior team.  It’s also a delight working with adults, whether those  learning for the first time, rediscovering their games, playing social doubles or competing in USTA league matches.  We teach excellent mechanics, footwork and shot-making techniques, and keep players moving and having fun.  With advanced and/or competitive players, we also work on sharpening their tennis IQ;  I help them win more points and become more confident competitors.
