Seniors.

This year you have a rare opportunity - complete one application for two (2) scholarships- what a deal!!!

The WCCUSD Retired Educators Scholarship application is available at www.wccrescholarship.org

All district seniors in the top half of their graduating class may apply for this scholarship.  Annually about 40 seniors have received this award for their higher education.  Last year, 7  Gauchos from the Class of 2024 were honored with $2500. On the above website you will find information, the application, a scoring criteria sheet used by readers, letter of recommendation forms, and contact information.

The second scholarship is The Bailey Family Legacy Foundation Scholarship.  This generous opportunity for the Class of 2025 is offered by Patricia Neilson Bailey and Clarke Higgins Bailey, Class of '72 grads. Information about the scholarship is on the attached  sheet.  Although the same application is used for both scholarships, the Baileys will read and determine the awardees for the  Bailey scholarship and the WCCRE will determine the Gauchos to receive the Retired Educators awardees

Your signature is required on the application page 2 below a box allowing sharing the application.

The completed application with typed signature on application, essay and 2 letters of recommendation is due on Friday March 14, 2025 to Michelle Seymoure at Michelle...@wccusd.net AND Marilyn O'Brian at obrian...@gmail.com  Two of the full, complete applications are to be submitted-one to Michelle Seymoure and one to Marilyn O'Brian.  The applications giving permission to share with the Baileys will be forwarded by Ms. Seymoure and Ms. O'Brian
