Dear Gaucho Families:
In this season of giving, we invite you to support El Cerrito Student Activity Fund (SAF). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that funds enrichment opportunities for our students both in and outside of the classroom – from dance and mountain biking to gardening and debate – that the school district is unable to support.
Our non-profit, run by parent volunteers, raises the critical funds for supplies, equipment and tournaments. This work ensures that all our students – whether unhoused, a recent immigrant, in foster care, or otherwise – can participate regardless of their financial situation. We also provide resources to make sure that our hard-working teachers, advisors, and support staff can dedicate more of their time and effort to providing students with the direct support that they need.
Join us in supporting our students by making a donation to the El Cerrito Student Activity Fund. Please consider a donation of $100, which could help cover a prom ticket or a team hoodie for a student who can’t afford them. Know that a contribution of any size is greatly appreciated. Or, write a check made out to El Cerrito Student Activity Fund and mail to the address listed below. Your donation can be earmarked for any established clubs or activities or allocated for the general fund, to be distributed through the grants program which recently funded athletic equipment, college tours for underserved students and registration fees for a science competition.
