There is no auto loot. Autoloot would be a HORRIBLE thing. If you loot something you want and it takes up too much room and want to jettison it to make room for something you do want, there is a VERY lengthy delay between when you can jettison stuff from your cargohold (ie. you cannot do so repeatedly in a short time frame). Also, autoloot would be a dream come true for some botters.
No, there is no autoloot on iRO or any other official RO (I'd argue that the requirement that you spend time to pick up loot was considered a balancing factor - certainly, with traditional leveling, your exp/hr will be 10-50% lower if you pick up all the loot manually). There is the Greed skill, which is a blacksmith quest skill - Greed costs 10sp, and picks up every item in a 5x5 square centered on you (instant cast). The Heroic Backpacks allow any class to use Greed while wearing one (as well as being generally an epicly good item).
where is this heroic backpack aquired? or is it a single use item...some form of autoloot would surely make playing garbage man less frustrating....not having it to deter bots clearly isnt the reason, as the last time i was around they ruled the world.
ok....i suppose i should explain my noobish exterior but seriously....where do lucky box's and anniversary boxes come from? are they Kafra purchase items?...somewhat side-note...how does one get the participants request box. no idea where boxes actually come from o.o...the games rather large
edit - i know events are limited time only and hard to miss when they're around. usually a green bubble saying event over em, so lucky box doesnt need an answer o.O
Can we have an "Enhanced Auto Loot" option which we can toggle. I loot everything and anything from mob kills. So, it is quite meaninglessly tedious for me to have to click to area loot from the killed mobs. Why not have all the loots auto collect into our inventory every time a mob goes down (with the "Enhanced Auto Loot" option switched on).
I know some of you do not loot everything. That is fine. You can just switch off the option. For those like me, it could be a great convenience and would smoothen our playing experience tremendously. Reducing the number of mouse clicks in a game would do wonder in giving the player a more enjoyable gaming experience.
With the option turned on it autoloots everything from ALL dead mobs in a certain radius of you in a single right click. You don't even see the loot window unless you're in a group with green and higher up for rolls. It just gets all sucked into your inventory with the credits divvied up.
If you seriously need to loot WHILE killing may I suggest you stop right clicking to attack which causes you to loot when the monster dies and keybind or click the abilities so you stop trying to loot in the middle of a fight and kill everything first so you just suck everything up in a single vacuum.
I see the various points about having this convenience, such as aiding credit farmer etc. But considering that credit farmer do not form the larger portion of player base, the overall benefit is still to the player themselves. Making life less convenient just because of a few black sheeps is not a wise move. I spent all of my gaming time here in swtor, and I kill lots of mobs in the course of game play. The number of clicks that I have to do in this game are so many that it bothers me (perhaps it would not impact those who don't play that much each day). On some days the number of clicks are so many that I feel my wrist hurting and have to take it slower.
But looking at what matters in a game: killing mob to get loot and to progress game play is what matters. Having to click to get the loot is just putting obstacle in front of seamless game play. Remove the unnecessary so that gamer have a more pleasant seamless playing experience is what I am trying to achieve through my suggestion.
(Imagine also the number of button presses to loot from mobs if swtor want to support console gamepad / joystick (in light of the recent GSF). Its easy enough to point and click to loot using a mouse, but not as easy to do so for console gamepad. Enhanced auto loot would be the way.)
honestly, I'm not a fan of this idea becasue its extremely minor "inconvenience" considering that we already loot the whole area with a single click, and I'm not sure it justifies work that would go into implementing it, when there are so many quality of life improvements that would make a much bigger difference.
its just one click, you can manage one click. (unlike Neverwinter where its individual clicks per item - using it as example since you brought it up and since its my fantasy MMO at the moment, and I've been playing it more recently than SWTOR due to winter event)
also, lets not get into a gamepad hypothetical. gamepad/joystick wouldn't work for regular gameplay anyways, as even with autoloot, you'd still need more buttons, not to mention - controls work very VERy differently between GSF and base game.
Why not just have all game characters, upon creation, instantly be sitting in their ship, with all titles, achievements, loot, gear, companions, everything completely unlocked. They can be sitting in their pilot's chair, sobbing, with a blaster in their mouth, quietly whispering "What's the point? What's the point of it all!"
Might be a good feature for the terminally lazy solo players, but it would be terribly annoying for heroic quests and other group contents. We get pop-up boxes for loot, and it's extremely annoying when they pop up during combat; boss is still not down and is killing us, and someone auto-autoloots the dead minions - annoying.
It's a decent QOL feature. You know we all pick up everything already, why do we need to stop after each battle and loot manually when it might as well just be done automatically, leaving us to do more of the fun stuff.
For garbage and creds, it certainly would be a nice feat, since it's not "one thing now and then" but every single time you kill anything. For actual loot, yeah, perhaps you should click.... I loved in Borderlands 2 they made it like this, as opposed to Borderlands 1, where you have pick up everything everytime.
How about making a custom commands enabling multiple item @alootid
Like @alootid 1
@alootid 2
@alootid 3
Give 3 slots on @alootid command? Command has 2 parameters. First is the item to be autolooted and second is for the slot. Slot has the purpose of setting different autoloot item or disabling the specific autoloot item
This way, if you have 2 or 3 items to farm within the same map, youd loot all of them automatically without difficulty.
What do you say guys?
Then what if we are collecting a non-stackable item and another stackable item?
This is just an example, Looking kukhri while farming aloevera. I know you can just @autoloot 5 and @alootid aloevera. But what if you are collecting item that is 100% chance both?
Maxing out the space and leaving space for the collected items wouldnt work here since you dont have more space
A Partner is new-style companion with a Bond Skill and a random Gifted Skill. A partner has Stamina (similar to energy) and Fellowship bars. Partners can also have abilities, up to six and you can transfer abilities from pets. Partner also has power buff, which makes it work like brooch in battle.A pet can be evolved to partner when its level reaches 10.
One character can now have maximum of 10 pets or partners that are listed in Companions Menu (pets were previously learned as skills and listed in Skills Menu). List may be expanded with certain items (from cash shop or events).Pets are summoned from menu, or you can assign five first ones a key in Options->Shortcuts.
Pets gain XP when they are fed and can level up. You can Evolve a grade 10 pet into a random companion using Evolution Core. Pet evolution can fail, reducing your pet to grade 9. No abilities are transferred from evolving pets.
The pet system experienced a major change on the computer version of TERA in May 2019[2][3].This change brought in companions and a pet leveling system. The PS4 and XBOX versions of TERA have yet to experience this change.
It's unclear if pets from achievements actually have skills like auto-loot, or only pets of same name from cash shop, as it's impossible complete these achievements anymore. Most pets have no skills whatsoever. You have fuse them or use them as base for Companion Appearance Change, to make a companion look like one of these pets.
Possibly incomplete list of pets from various game events which may be repeating or one-time. TERA PC really started giving out pets from different events only after the partner system release in May 2019. Before that pets were rather useless. Complexity of these events tells they are Bluehole Korean devs made, but not all events were active in all regions. En Masse had no events since fall 2020 when the company was closing. After November 2020 NA and EU had the same events.
A Pet is a small creature that follows players around. Most pets are purchased from the TERA Store. Some pets are earned via achievements. Some pets can only be acquired by chance when opening a Loot Box.
A pet is summoned with a skill, which is obtained by reading a skill book titled "Care and Use of Your Pet [name]".These learned skills can be dragged from "Learned Skills" menu to shortcut bar to call or dismiss pet.
Pets will only perform their ability when they are summoned and properly fed. If a pet becomes hungry they will become tired and disappear. You can check your pets energy levels by clicking on them. You can also access a pets inventory by clicking on them.
I believe I have set up auto-loot correctly but the loot never picks itself up. It will auto-sell if I go into a combat phase and didn't pick everything up but won't collect it. So, either I am not doing something correctly or it is not working and I am not sure which. Any help out there?
