I think Dodge already talked to Sharon about this but I think we've actually made a decision now and so I wanted to let you all know what's a going on.

 

We were sick of failing PUGs on Khaz Modan and weren't going to be satisfied with the 1 dungeon run a week plan. We want to play together (as I'm sure Kenny and Kay understand) and there just really isn't much opportunity for that right now. There's only so many dailies you can do before it just becomes a chore. I think if the we would of had more success with PUGs it wouldn't be so big a deal. We realized Echoes was just too small right now to support 2 groups and were determined to find some folks to run things with ourselves. Possibly adding these new fun people to Echoes if we liked them enough. That was our plan but it just never worked out. I don't think we ever got through a dungeon that we actually needed successfully. It was seriously bumming us out.

 

We decided to go to a RP server to open up our game play options for the downtimes. I already have a 60 dwarf priest on Blackwater Raiders so we decided to go there. Dodge had a 20 druid and I quickly leveled up a mage to play with him.

 

Recently, we joined a fairly large heavy RP guild on BWR and are enjoying it quite a bit. There's always a bunch of people on to RP with and little events to get involved in. We attended a wedding tuesday night that I thought was super fun. I got to help with the summoning of the bride. *glee* I get to dress up in non-armor and just hang out in Stormwind with my silver tabby. The guild is active at doing 5 and 10 mans with their 70s and are hoping we can join in some of that whenever we reach that point. Dodge has transferred his gnome warrior to BWR so we might take a shortcut and level the 60 warrior/priest. But honestly I'm having a lot of fun farting around as a noob mage. There's a rp sister guild and I ran into one of their members yesterday and we played tea-party on the boat from Menethil to Theramore. Just fun silly stuff that I like to do. Dodge is sort of an RP noob but he's developed a backstory for his druid and is playing him very well. The guild liked our character stories so well we've been invited to the guild writing group to help develop the guild's story. I'm kinda rambling now but it's sort of closer to how Echoes used to be pre-STOD. Who cares what level you are, if you're friendly and fun we'll let you tag along sort of mentality. In fact, there are parts of the guild charter that are taken verbatim from Echoes' old charter. *Laughs*

 

Not that you guys aren't super fun and don't enjoy doing stupid stuff like this, too. We still loves you guys! We truly are just having a lot of fun with the RP factor right now and want to see where it takes us. I think I have 1500 - 2000 gold on Goldee I can donate to the guild bank, I had more but I spent a truckload of gold trying to effectively switch to holy. Other than that, I think any useable items I have, I've already given away but I will double check.

 

If anyone is interested in popping in BWR anytime to RP or fart around be sure to send us a whisper. My characters are Goldy (priest) and Desdarii (mage) and Dodge is playing Razzlez (warrior) and Keste (druid). Goldy is a tailor and can make you some RP clothes if you need some!

Before anyone thinks I was holding out on them... when I talked to Dodge he had said that they were trying out the RP .. but that Golds was looking forward to children's week and getting a pet for Goldee.. and that he missed his pally.... both led me to believe they would be returning.

I understand the frustration ... but a lot of that stems from lack of communication as well.

I'm glad you found someplace you are happy playing... that's really all that matters in the end. :)
