Hi,

Has anyone been able to get the ECH handler working on the CMS
platform side? I'm trying to get all call records exported from CMS
into a binary file via FTP to them process them with ECHI Converter.
At this point I have confirmed that Avaya ECH is authorized and we are
currently running CMS ver 13, but i'm unable to find the CHRXXXX file
in the system in order to set up a script for exporting.

Thanks,

This is really an Avaya CMS question and I am not sure. Someone else
here may be able to assist, or I recommend trying on this forum:

Good luck!

Thank you Jason, appreciate your quick response.  Hopefully other members of this group that have setup the ECHI process could share how they were able to achieve it withouth the intervention of Avaya PS.  As I mentioned on the original post, I have ECHI Converter installed and tested, and confirmed the CMS server has the ECH feature authorized, but unfortunately no chrxxxx files are created on the location that the file is supposed to be stored /CMS/CMSTABLES.  Also, while reviewing the Avaya ECH documentation, I noticed that there is a requirement for the space allocation on the CMS for call records to be buffered:

Space allocation

You will need to allocate space on CMS for call records to be buffered (in System Setup: Data

Storage Allocation, up to 99,999 segments in a buffer over all ACD.s).

Following this requirement I checked my CMS system and noticed that "Number of Call Records (0-5000):" is set to "0", so I'm hopging that updating that field will buffer the call records into the Avaya CMS/CMSTables folder.

I'll contact Avaya as you suggested to confirm this info and will update this post.

Thanks again,

Bole

Hello,

Have you got installed the echi packages in the Avaya cms platform¿?
Then you have to configurate some files to copy the files. It works
with uucp.

Good luck!

Thank you Jason, I don't have the ECHI package installed when I look at Run PKG on CMS, but I do have ECH authorized on the CMS platform.  Therefore, it seems the feature is already active.
