Dear Mariano,

I tried to use your kit, for a project. I installed the ECG-kit but I did not see any question about permission from the system, however I got the tekst that the ecg-kit was installed correctly. Afterwards I continued with your youtube tutorial 2. However when I got to minute 1.18 , I got an error which can be seen below:

Error using ECGwrapper/CheckECGrecording (line 1601)
Can not find recording : recordings\example_recording

Error in ECGwrapper/CheckArguments (line 1537)
            obj = CheckECGrecording(obj);

Error in ECGwrapper/Run (line 284)
                obj = obj.CheckArguments();

The first error says that the recording can not be found, and I did not remove or change any file from recording, it is exactly like in the zip file. Afterwards I tried to uninstall the kit, but this warning popped up:

to uninstall "tab completion" capability it is needed to run this script with administrator/root privileges, or say "YES" when.
Run Matlab as administrator and execute this script again.

I guess that my problem is then the administrator problem? But I dont know how to get the administrator/root privileges.

Hi Talha, thanks for reporting that problem! I also think that the kit was not correctly installed. I developed the ecg-kit with an older version of Matlab, newer versions uses a different compiler, please check the "readme first" message in this forum, and make sure that the installation script is compiling correctly the source MEX files. You will need to know if you have the correct compiling software for your specific matlab version. The install script is quite obsolete and was not further adapted to the last Matlab versions, so you will have to take care of checking that on your own. The part that the installer try to compile should be run manually (you have the code to do that in the installation script), and once you are sure that the compiling succeed, then examples should run flawlessly.

Good luck and ask further questions if you are in trouble.

Best,
M.
