General Job Description:

We are seeking a candidate in the field of digital integrated circuit verification to join our highly experienced team and participate in the verification of leading edge communications devices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute verification test plans to verify complex digital block-level or sub-system level designs (100K to 10M+ gates), which are coded in VHDL/Verilog. 
• Use metric-driven and constrained random-driven verification techniques to help ensure first-pass working silicon.
• Design, implement and maintain verification testbenches and bus-functional models in Specman/TCL/VHDL using best-in-class verification methodologies such as eRM. 
• Write and execute testcases according to the verification test plans to verify these complex designs.  Track down bugs and technical problems and work with the design team to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate with the internal verification community in the continuous improvement of the verification methodology.
• Depending on the project, responsibilities may include leading a small team of junior engineers for sub-system/device-level verification 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a GPA >3.2
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues
• Proven ability to thrive on, learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
• Excellent teamwork and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent documentation skills

JR. SOFTWARE Engineer – RAID STORAGE MANAGEMENT

About the Job:   Division: ESD Software Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities: As a software engineer (junior), you will join a growing team of engineers developing manageability software for storage products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:   Responsible for implementing functionality of RAID Storage Management Utilities in MS-DOS, BIOS, UEFI and other such Pre Boot Environments. Unit testing and debugging of Storage Management Software. Recreate and fix any reported problems during the complete development and maintenance phases of the product life cycle of the product. Participate in Discussions, Code reviews, Documentation, Source Control, Bug Tracking, Build and Release support and any other tasks related to the products you work on.

Qualifications: B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, M.C.A, M.Sc or any other equivalent degree with Computer Science, Mathematics and Electronics. Very good aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills. 2-4 years of strong C-programming experience. Superior skills in Pointers, Data Structures and Algorithms. Experience in working in an embedded environment. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand and convert design to good, clean code. Good communication and documentation skills   DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Assembly Language Programming for the Intel x 86 platforms. Working knowledge of storage technologies - SCSI, SAS/SATA, and RAID. Self motivated and ability to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.
