Today I had a discussion with the faculty of ECE dept regarding the proposed 1st year curriculum. In their opinion, it is better to include one department laboratory also in the second semester since two dept core subjects are taught in that semester.If I do so, there will be 6 theory subjects and 3 labs in the second semester (first year). I have also reduced one hour from Engineering Chemistry to give some relaxation time to the students. Hence I retained NSS for 2 hours.The total no of credits in the second semester is 25 now. Please give your feedback about this suggestion. The revised curriculum is attached.
