Greetings from PALS4 team.

PALS or the Pan IIT Leadership Series is a major initiative by the IIT Alumni Interaction Center aimed at benefitting Students and Faculty of Engineering Colleges and Institutes in and around Chennai with a variety of events.

In its fourth year now, PALS main focus is to enhance the quality of engineering education.

"RESEARCH @ IITM"is one such program organised by PALS4 with active support , assistance and input from senior faculty of  IIT Madras. The program will take place on 21.02.2015 (Saturday ) between 10:30am - 12:30 pm at IITM .  The Dean - Academic Research and senior faculty will be presenting the various  research opportunities at IITM , the benefits of doing research at IIT , eligibility criteria and other matters in this regard. 

With increased thrust given to Research at IITs and the option to pursue Ph.D directly after B.Tech , we thought it appropriate that we bring  this program to colleges like yours . The event is open to all students and not restricted to final year students. Participation is free. 

Students keen to pursue research should not miss this opportunity. Even students with a little interest in research are strongly encouraged to attend the program with an open mind and learn about pursuing research as a career option.

Lunch ( No Charge) will be made available at the venue.
