Greetings from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)!
AICTE is pleased to invite applications from Education Partners (Stakeholders) for the following proposals:
Setting up New Technical Institutions in the following programs at various levels, including Diploma, Post Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Postgraduate Diploma in Management, Postgraduate Certificate in Management, and Fellow Program in Management (FPM) (in Management), among others (including BBA/BCA/BMS):
- Engineering and Technology
- Planning
- Applied Arts and Crafts
- Design
- Hotel Management and Catering Technology
- Computer Applications
- Management
Extension of Approval for Existing Technical Institutions, Institutions Deemed to be Universities, or Universities (Central/State/Private).
Approval/NOC for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) or Online Mode Programs in the following fields for Standalone Institutions or Institutions Deemed to be Universities at the Certificate/Diploma/Degree levels:
- Management – Business Administration, Logistics, and Travel & Tourism
- Computer Applications – Computer Application, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Blockchain
All Instituions are strongly advised to thoroughly read the AICTE Approval Process Handbook (APH) 2024-25 to 2026-27, along with any amendments issued from time to time, available at https://www.aicte-india.org/bureaus/approval/approval-process-2025-26. Applications for the Academic Session 2025-26 must be submitted online via the AICTE Web Portal.
Please note that the AICTE Approval Process for the Academic Year 2025-26 has categorized the application opening and closing dates based on the respective application category groupwise strictly according to the timelines specified in the attached Approval Process Timeline Schedule . As a result, the Instituions would be able to access the portal strictly in accordance with the timeline mentioned pertaining to respective GROUP the said Instituion belong to. Therefore, the instituions are requested to strictly adhere to the timelines mentioned in the attached Approval Process Timeline Schedule.
Grievances, if any, may be raised striclty in accordance with the Approval Process Timeline Schedule.
