Sorry for the confusion. Sometimes I forget myself!

Dear Dancers,

Happy St. Patrick’s Day and World Sleep Day!

I just found out that March 17 is World Sleep Day https://worldsleepday.org as well as St. Patrick’s Day. Talk about a funny combination. Wouldn't it make more sense to have World Sleep Day on the day after St Patrick's Day when a lot of people would be recovering from a hangover? But maybe this double day celebration was deliberate - designed to help AA members snooze through the wearing of the green day sober. Of course, the non-Irish may think St. Patrick's Day a snooze-worthy day anyway.

But back to dancing – we can arise from our winter nap and drive the remaining snow and cold winter away by kicking up our heels at the next dance this coming Sunday Mar 19, 2-5 p.m.

As I’m the caller this time, I’ll be calling some of my favorite dances set to beautiful tunes. In addition, I’ll be enlisting you to help me polish some new dances I recently wrote that will be published in a collection of dances celebrating Canada’s 150^th birthday.
