CAPITAL ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCE

Sunday, March 1, Dance from 2 to 5 p.m. (Beginner Workshop at 1:30 p.m.)

St. John's Episcopal Church, 146 First St., Troy, NY

Hello Dance Friends,

Spring will be here soon. Here’s hoping we’ll start to feel a certain lightness in our step as we anticipate the many pleasures the warmer season will bring.

This month we’re featuring an all-local lineup for your dancing pleasure. Caller Don Bell will lead us through the dances accompanied by Alan Thomson on keyboard and Britany Orlebeke on fiddle.

Britany Orlebeke
Britany is an accomplished fiddler known to many in the Capital District for her graceful and lively music. She has played numerous times for Capital English Country Dance events and at the Dance Flurry Festival and many other local Contra dances around the area. (Britany kindly stepped in for the previously scheduled fiddler, Micah Walter, whose wife is expecting a baby any time now.)

Bring a friend if you can and come enjoy our local performers. Looking forward to dancing with you soon!
