Dear Dancers,
Saturday December 6, 1-3 pm I'm leading a free English country dance workshop at the East Greenbush Community Library.
To help build the dance community, experienced dancers are encouraged to attend, assisting new dancers as 'dance angels'.
As attendance is limited, please register ahead of time.
The inspiration for this workshop is the fact that 2025 marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. Jane Austen is a literary icon who often included scenes of English Country dance in her novels.
One easy way of celebrating Jane Austen's birthday is to watch some videos of the1995 BBC miniseries of "Pride and Prejudice."
