Dear All,

Congratulations to Lucy McBath on her big win in District 6! Now we are ready to move forward together as one Democratic Party in East Cobb! No matter whom you voted for in this race, I hope you will pledge your heart, your soul, your dollars, and your shoe leather to support Lucy and the other candidates, both local and state-wide, in the November election. All it takes is one view of the ad with Brian Kemp pointing a gun at a 17-year-old boy to know how serious this is. And you all know that it takes a lot more than just voting to get a candidate elected. Politics is not a spectator sport: we need your skin in the game!!! WE have lots of GREAT candidates to volunteer for, so make a plan to do just that!

Thanks to ALL the candidates who offered themselves to run this year. Win or lose, you have made a critical contribution to our democracy, and we can’t thank you enough.

Thanks to all the volunteers who worked on all of the primary and run-off campaigns. We greatly appreciate your contributions to moving the cogs of democracy. Now let’s get busy!
